Mr. Zaman completed his BSS (Honors) and MSS degrees in Social Work from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. He joined as a Programme Officer (Research and Education) at Volunteers Association of Bangladesh (VAB), an USA based NGO working for ensuring quality education of under privileged group in Bangladesh. Later he went Ireland to study the degree Masters of Arts in Human Resource Management in Dublin Business School where he achieved excellent grade in his master’s dissertation. He has got several skill development trainings like training in labour laws at Work Place from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), Advanced Research Techniques used in Social Sciences and SPSS Analysis from Dhaka University, Microsoft Project Management 2003 from Bangladesh Computer Council, a short course in Irish Culture from Higher Education and Training Award Council, Ireland. He involved himself and guided many social work activities when he was the President of Rotaract Club of Shahjalal University. His areas of interest are health system management, organizational learning and knowledge management, both qualitative and quantitative research and fairness in HRM.
