Ms. Suborna Camellia, has been working as a Research Associate at the School for two years. She is currently coordinating the research project, Gender-based Violence among urban slum residents, which is a core component of the Realising Rights Research Programme Consortium funded by DFID. She has a Masters and Bachelor degree in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University. Prior to joining the School, she worked on several research projects with renowned national and international organizations like Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, BRAC University Institute of Educational Development, Save the Children Sweden and Denmark, and ICDDR,B. Some of her work has already been published in peer reviewed journals. Her areas of interest are gender, urban poverty, sexual and reproductive rights.
