Centre for Professional Skills Development (CPSD), the training centre of James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University organized the short course on ‘Quantitative Research Methodology’ which was held from 1st -2nd October, 2016 and continued from 8th- 9th October, 2016. This course provides an overview of quantitative research methods in public health. The aim of the course was to familiarize participants with quantitative research methods, as well as to guide them to gain skills of conducting quantitative research. The course guides participants to generate research ideas, understand fundamental concepts of research methods, details about the steps of research methodology, and key points regarding tools development. The course uses didactic lectures, interactive sessions, peer discussions and self-learning through readings and assignments.
