Fatema Rasul is trained as a medical doctor from Ibrahim Medical College, Bangladesh, and holds a Masters of Public Health, from JPGSPH. She has worked as a senior research associate and as a lecturer in the James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University for over two years. She has experience in working closely with BRAC health programmes, and has collaborated to the development of a health insurance product while working in BRAC healthcare innovations programme.

 

Ms Rasul joined the health economics and health financing group in March 2014, as a doctoral student. She is the recipient of a USAID PhD fellowship. Her doctoral thesis applies mixed methods to assess access to care and household expenditure chronic non communicable diseases in Bangladesh.
