Field Coordinator (Mid Level)
Irin Akhter has joined the REACHOUT team at the James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University in August 2014 as a Field Coordinator (Mid Level). She has completed her undergraduate in Statistics and also a Masters in Statistics from the University of Dhaka. In addition, she has also completed masters in Population Sciences from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Irin has more than twelve year’s professional experiences in research (including field work coordination) and programme development. Previously she worked at Eminece, a national organization as Unit Head of Data Management Unit and coordinated all the research and program activity. She has worked on Sexual and Reproductive Health, Environment and Disaster Management, Nutrition, Eye Care, etc. She also worked as a consultant (part time) at Population Council, an international organization and as a Program Officer at Local Initiatives Programs (LIP), a national organization.
